I would say Q, or HD3C would be good choices depending on what your looking for.

Q gets loud while sounding really good. Q is more of a SQ driver

HD3C gets really loud, while sounding alright. More of a SPL driver

Since I couldn't decide between either, I went with a (badterm)"sql" driver, the Mag.

or the BL.

ya ive been comparing prices and peoples suggestions.
for about 300 i can get either of these:

FI BL 12 (site says its next tier up from the Q series, and only about $50 more)

If you are looking at a more sq oriented driver, then I think you are looking at the wrong drivers to begin with..

eh u think the Fi or the audioque aren't good sound quality?

i heard from many people the Fi subs are good, and the site recommends the BL series for daily driver running on lots of power over the Q series. they are rated for 1000 rms and im gonna be putting 1653 so i figured i need to get the BL series for the custom options.

if im looking at all the wrong brands then where would u point me to get a roughly $300 sub. that can handle 1500+rms and still hit all the right notes.

He isn't saying that the FI and audioque won't sound good, they will. But the HD3c is definitely not a SQ driver, once you get to 1500 watts, you'll be hard pressed to find any SQ oriented drivers, unless you cut the power and run 2 subs.

This is because in a true SQ setup, the sub is supposed to blend in with the rest of the music. Once the sub stands out above the rest, you aren't focused on SQ anymore.

ya i think the DC3 would hit harder, but for an integra 1600rms is hard enough either way.

I'm getting the FI BL12, just picking what custom options I'm getting on it, going for SQ over SPL, and daily setup also. pretty excited hope it comes in quick.

they run a lot higher Db response than the DC3 according to the manufacturers.

Exactly... Like mentioned, pg ti 12d elites can handle 2k no prob. jbl gti, idmax. Both of those cant handle the power like the elite, but all 3 great sq subs.. That is just a few..

All those mentioned above are great subs, but in my personal experiance i've loved the spg555 for SQ perposes, and in a ported box it gets stupid loud, its at 1,000 rms, then again i run mine at 1,350 daily, but you could just keep the gain set low, i love mine and for SQ you can't go wrong with it.

Hey i have scanned all over the site, and seen some good reviews on 12''.
Ive found some subs i like but haven't seen anyone running a single 12'' on a kicker 1500.1 amp. it rated in at 1653 RMS, and has been pushin (2) 12'' CVX.

I need suggestions as to which single 12'' sub will run well on it.

Im goin for SQ more so than loudness.

Have seen the w12gti, SE, Fi, DD, like them all but need more info.

im lookin into the w12gti MKII more so than the others cause ive found a great deal on one, but it says it runs 700rms and peaks at 4000. didnt know if it will handle me puttin 1653 rms to it. i will not be putting it to the limit on that wattage anyway so.

also seen Cadence Daytona series, says it handles 1500rms at 91 Db, but i know the other cadence series subs aren't too great so.

any feed back or stories of someone running a single 12'' on 1500 rms would be great.

Im running one cadence daytona DCW-12RVC ....at 1200W....its awesome

the cadence daytonas are some awsome subs my 15s are taking 2500 daily to each.
for the money you should look at Fi Q's since you are wanting more SQ

+100....i cant wait till i get more....
