I like the older gray coned P2's but never really payed much attention to the new ones

buy.com has the Boston Acoustics G2 12s for only $94 shipped! Thats gotta be the best deal hands down right now. It will easily take 500-600rms with that 2.5in 4 layer coil. I ran my G1 with its 2in 4 layer coil rated for 200rms on an amp rated for 534rms and not once did it get warm, even after beating on it for a good hour at **** near full volume and with many sustained burps throughout. I am pretty experienced with BA subs and would compare the g2 series to the jl w3 line in terms of sq.
