Beginner Sub Advice!!

Hey I just picked out my subs and am in some need of advice on what amp to get that will sufficiently power two of these....

I am on a budget (hence the cheap sub selection) and will need an amp under $250 dollars if possible.

You need at least 600 watts at 2 ohms. A Kicker zx750.1 would work nicely and is available in your price range online.

Haha because I bought a dual 10 inch sub box at the circuit city closeout.

You can pick up a Hifonics 1508D brand new for $200 and wire the 2 subs to 2 ohm load. Just make sure the gain on the amp is set conservatively because at 2 ohm it puts out more than the subs can take.

BUT it will give you some options later to get 2 better subs later wired to 1 ohm. Sure Hifonics aren't the best amps alive but they're good for the money.

Sealed, I'm goin more for sound quality on that one i had heard ported were louder...again I am very new to this.

How about the Audioque 1200 and 2 of these ? It'll save you a little money and probably sound better than the MTX subs.
