beer pong, anyone?

you must have not played much beer pong....up firing speakers is a bad idea, because they will get ruined by beer!!!!
I built mine out of 3/4 mdf, 2x4's as a frame and 4x4's as legs, however, it is not finished because I have not taken the hours of time out of my life to lay all the bottle caps in and pour the resin over them:crap:

trust me, ive played plenty. which is why i said MARINE SPEAKERS. that way they can get wet with out the worries of them getting ruined.

that WVU table is AWESOME! im suprised they didn't mess any of the wires up, there's a ton of them under that table!

even if you use marine speakers, there will be pooled water/beer in the cone....shit sound and it will still get focked up

Check out some tables on beerpong.com. I've seen ones that were made into those floatable lounge chairs so you could play in pools. An A&M logo would be sweetI would build the table and then put lights into it and then cover it in plexi glass, or maybe even some of that glass that has a slight haze to it so it would look slightly blurier?? Cool effect imo. If you really wanted to get crazy I would add LEDs in the middle on each side that would display the number of cups you have left, (push a button to remove one cup so it would start at 10 then count down to 0 sequentially and then go back up to 10. I think it could also be cool if you had one light for each of the 10 cups in the rack (different colors) and then used clear cups and it would semi illuminate the cups?

A few guys in a fraternity I know made a beer pong table with their fraternity logo, and the circles for all the cups and everything all out of old beer tops. Then they put a laquer over top to keep it reaaaal smooth, it was sweet. I'll try and find a pic.
