Beef up electrical to push a 16V amplifier

My stock alt runs at 14.4V and is around 120 amps; i just wanted to take advantage of the amplifiers 16V output
U either need a second alt, or you would need a voltage increase module. There was one on here a while back. It basically boost the voltage from stock to 16v.

Dude., 16 V means you need 17-18 charging. You would need a dual alt set up. one stock and one H/O set for substage only., basically two sepreate lopes. Most cars can not handle more than 15.2 volts. Your options would include a step down module and other shit.

Externally regulated alt, external regulator, step down, 16v batts. You can skip the step down if you have a dedicated secondary alt for the system. But SubZero is right, "16v" means 17v+ charging just like "12v" charges at 14v+.

Go shopping.

Also not sure why VisceralSounds said 16v is useless. Amps love voltage. Well, some of them. Make sure your amps are 18v stable.

How can i get voltages high enough to push 16v for my Skar amp but not fry all of my car electronics? Do i add a SECOND alternator rated for the higher voltage?
Honestly bro, from your past posts you're nowhere near ready to step up like that.
