My Avalanche 18 is louder than your two type R 12's. Im really getting tired of Type R's and this message board. Its worse than we where on AF for a while with Brahma 15's. Jesus. The list of single speakers that can be louder than your two type R 12's is longer than anyone could list on here.

to answer your question in all honesty......NO!

yes, hundreds of subs. 2 8" Crystal Audio CMP's would murder 2 12" TypeRs. All depends on enclosure and install. http://www.nolteaudio.com has the best boxes around, they'll get most subs very very loud and sound amazing.

its all about the installs and i'm starting to get annoyed with these uneducated noob just search man seriously it's not hard. And how the hell can you say any of those subs that were mentioned above can beat 2 type r in a proper install a single l7, xxx, d9. Are you jokeing d9's and xxx are even meant to hit that hard there both sq subs that just happen to have allitle extra umfff in them they only sub that will have a chance to hang with 2 type r (this is if all installs are correct) is the audioque. But in all seriousness get the type-r's and spend the extra money you save and spend it on building many boxes and your electrical.

In the world we live in today son, you get what you pay for, which is why TypeR's are cheap, because they are cheap subs in which everybody gives magical praise because they CANNOT afford a great subwoofer like an XXX. XXX's destroy TypeR's hands down.

Vs

15" D9 or 15" XXX or 15" HD From AudioQue or 9515 from DD in a good box with ample power

Type R will get it's *** handed to it by all of these subwoofers.

Add the RE SX in there too, because it will also outdo the Type R. Grow up with the half assed comments and acting like a prick.

that is very true and i think most people know this (if you dont then just leave) but the original and person you quoted arguments are 2x type rs
