Pass% does not equate to accuracy. If you're just chucking it up in the air and hoping your receivers catch it (Rex Grossman) that doesn't make you accurate. Accuracy is about putting the ball where it needs to be, and Peyton Manning is the best at that imo. Not to mention you have to take into account how many pass attempts you have. Look at the QB's on that list. Manning has 7000+ career attempts. Pennington has 2000 something. Comparing Chad Pennington's accuracy to anyone on that list except maybe Carson Palmer is ridiculous.

You can argue about stats all day long and still be wrong when the end of the day comes. Its a game, anything can happen, shit I mean the damn seahawks made it into the playoffs with a loosing record and won a game. I do think though the games are going to be some close ones tomorrow and you might just see a few suprises.

How else would you measure a QB's accuracy, bob? I know Pennington isn't a household name, and he never it up scoreboards, but the guy's completion percentage (the statistic that's used universally to measure a QB's accuracy) is the highest EVER.

I never said Pennington was better than Joe Montana, Dan Marino, Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, but he is more accurate than all of them (according to the statistic that measures accuracy). Argue against me all night long if that's what you want to do, but the stats favor my side of the argument.

Statistics are fact, man. I know there are MANY things that can't be meaused in the game of football (heart, toughness, the it factor that makes certain players a winner, etc), but some things can be (completion %, total yds, TDs, YPC, etc).

Here, I will agree with you only if you compare those other qb's at the same point in time. So if pennington only racked up 2000 attempts in his career and has the highest comp. % then what was Marino's comp. % after 2000 attempts, what about Mannings? or Brady? Now if you come back with those stats and Pennington still has a better one then yes Ill agree with you he's the most accurate ever. But comparing a Qb who has only thrown less than half of the passes than those other guys and still saying he is the best is hogwash at best.
