quarterback accuracy

You have two QB's standing at the 20yd line & a WR standing at mid-field. QB A throws the ball spot-on: the receiver doesn't even flinch & it hits him dead in the chest, yet he fails to make the catch & it falls incomplete. QB B throws the ball, the receiver has to run 10yds to the left & dive just to reach the ball, & he makes the remarkable catch.

QB B has a higher completion %, thus he is the more accurate passer. It is a FACT, just ask misfit.....

passes to tuh chest arent good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

receivers are taught to catch tuh ball with their arms fully extended. with their finger tips. basically tuh highest point they can catch it.

That is a single instance. With a very large sample size, all situations like that are moot. Completion percentage is the best way to determine quarterback accuracy.

So Jake Delhomme is a more accurate passer than Dan Marino?

And there have been 132 more accurate QB's than Johnny Unitas?
