ok so today i notcied my factory battery was leaking out of the neg. terminal. and ive got an extra battery here but the battery cables arent long enough, is the safest and easiest way to fix this is to just run a dis. block having a wire come from the battery into the block and splitting 2 ways into the fuse box and to the alt? i will also be doing the big 3 on this car at the same time so just want to be sure.

anyone? again, I will be replacing the battery, new battery connectors, and running a new, longer wire to a distribution block with a 1 in 2 out design. The 2 wires coming out of it will be the factory wires. I will then do my Big 3 Upgrade. Can someone ensure me this is the easiest way to do this?

If you are doing the Big3 then just make the new wires long enough to reach their destination. If need be, get a longer cable for your starter too.

I'm going to do that.. makes it eaiser than the way i thought would be best which is keeping the factory wires, just extending the one from the battery to were they meet for the alt and fuse box. cause i was gonna leave the factory and add the new, bigger wire for better use.
