Battery

Thats what she said
Local shop has four rebadged yellowtops for $100 (each). All the specs are the same as the yellow tops, just like $70 cheaper. Dry/gel cell 6-pack design, I was told that they're just rebadged optimas.

All black, and I think the name was "Optimizer" or something, almost sounded like optima. I need another battery, and was just going to get a generic marine battery for $80, but you think this would be any better?

Edit:

This was a parts store, not an audio shop. And they are new

It couldnt be that bad of a decision...Id go for it if you need them, because the price is right and they couldnt be that horrible
Thats what I figured. I asked if they were odd yellow tops (seeing the 6-pack design, and they were sideways behind the desk so I couldn't see a name), and I think he said yea (and then went on to say that they were rebadges) just to sell them. But even so, I've had cheap off brand no-name batteries do almost on par with the name brand ones.

A battery is a battery, figured they can't be that horrible, they're gel cell, sealed, deep cycles...

Guess we'll see, I'll get some pics up when I get 'em

Thanks for the heads up, didn't even cross my mind about that.

Whats normal warranty for a battery? Just an average range, few months, year, few years, etc?
