Anyone own a Toyota Solara/Camry?

Like the title asks... If so what kind of subwoofer setup is in and how does it sound. (Ex. 1 12" IDmax facing the cabin in 2.5ft^3 sealed w/ about 1000rms going to it)

I am having a tough time getting this car to sound the way i want it for rap. I had a 10" fi q with 1krms on it ported. The box fit perfectly into the area where you fold the seats down, pretty much sealed off from the trunk and it wasnt even remotely close to getting as loud as my olds i used to drive....

15" Hd3 in 97 Camry. Sub back port back seems to be loudest for me.

In most trunked cars, people suggest port back, sub back. Unless you absolutely want the sub pointed to the cabin/have to, try it the other way.

My girlfriend has a 96 camry with (2) FI ssd's 12's in a 3.2 cu/ft box tuned to 33hz . Ran off a modded Rockford Power bd1000. Sub and port faced toward the rear . Did a 146.4 on an AC mic . The car sounds pretty good IMO as long as the boxes I put in there let some airflow past the box . Let me see if I can find some pics of her setup .

my friend has a camry and a 12" l7 and its really not as loud as it can be.... maybe camry's are just bad for sound lol.

it does have fold down seats which is why i figured it would be loudest with a box that filled the gap perfectly.

I will mess with it a bunch tomorrow before work, i was just curious about other people.

the box i built fit perfectly in that space in the back of the fold down seats.

I have a 98 Camry with an Alpine Type R facing towards the back... I usually drive around with one of my seats folded down because if I don't the sub sounds only half as loud and everything rattles a lot more... Usually with one of the seats down it sounds pretty good.
