this is probably a dumb question, but does a battery like a optima hold more charge than lets say a stock battery or even a die hard? what is the big advantage for getting a optima or kinetic battery? are they worth the extra cash? thanks

The reason that people use Optimas is the low ESR and their ability to deliver current quickly.

right is a dumb question,yellowtop optima is way better than standard batts,but i prefer kinetik

And the fact that they are deep cycle. If you play any music with the engine off a deep cycle is a must. I prefer kinetik also but a Stinger is all I could fit under the hood:crap:

wet cells (regular batteries have a higher esr than an agm type battery (optima and kinetik) this is a optima is like a six pack and a kinetik is like a keg it has plates all they way though it for a greater capacity
