Whats the cheapest, but acceptable, way to attach 4awg wire to a battery terminal? Maybe post some pics of some existing installations?

Just use a crimp holder...cost under $2 bucks and just hook up directly to (+) terminal.

sorry, no pic but it's just a connector w/a ring on the top and hole at bottom where wire is inserted(crimped)...very common piece. HTH

dude its called a ring terminal. go to walmart or wherever and say i need a ring terminal. its a circle piece made of metal and then connected to the ring is some extra metal where u put the end of the wire into and pinch the wire inside of it.

Crimp on power rings, set screw power rings, inter lock power rings, whatever.

here is a cheap eay way to connect 2 #4's. This is only a temp fix for me but can be safely used for a long time

i just bougt a second one of those cuz my battery connects on the front side and top, i bought one of those took the big wire out of it and put my 4guage wire in there and tightened it back up wroked perfectly..

there are about a million ways to do it, well not a million but there are a lot of ways to connect it to the battery.
