Battery Tray Help

I bought a deka intimidator battery and it wont fit under the hood. Its too tall and the hood wont shut. It fits fine in the box just too tall. What can I do? I have an 06 Mustang V6. Thanks guys

Take a pic of the battery tray.

The tray in my Civic unscrews, and allows for like 6" of depth. Maybe you can have a platform fabbed up to replace the stock tray.

Take a pic of the tray if you could. Most unbolt, and have some space underneath so a custom one can be made.

How many inches is the battery too tall to clear the hood?
