People are stupid...
Every so often ill walk out to my truck and the thing will be "dead" or not turn over. The dome will turn on but there isnt enough juice to turn the truck over. So i do what every person would do and try to jump it. That doesnt work soo i look at the terminals and see if there loose, there not. I loosen them and turn both wires and tighten them back up and my truck starts like it was new.......

WTF!?

What causes this? It happens everyonce in a while and i dont play with the connections! It happened 2 hours ago so now i cant leave without a wrench and a screwdriver!

Please Help me!

Sounds like its possibly just a case of bad connections lol. Clean everything up with a wire brush, and get some anti-corrosion lube to put on your terminals and it will probably fix your problem.

I had the same problem..see my "Braking turns my HU off...?" thread just below this..My old terminals were corroded and causing a loss of contact surface between post and terminal. So far it is working great cuz earlier today it took about 10seconds for my 9853 to turn on then itd flutter and turn off...but I just finished my new $5 terminal install about an hour ago and the 9853 turned immediately on just like it had BNIB. Hope this helps.
