my stock battery that came with my car is at 12.5 volts is this okay? i have a kinetik hch1800 on the way, but should i use it tp replace the one up front or put it in the back by the amp?

if its at 12.5 with car off, ignition on, that is perfectly fine. with the car running, it should be between 13.5 and 14.5

are you a kinetik rep? =P i dunno i would use both if it were me. i don't see a point in throwing away a perfectly fine battery for .5 volts when the car is off.

more to it than just .5v. its an easier load on the alt than the factory battery as well ... and i used to be a rep but not any more. agm style batteries offer advantages over wet cells for those looking to past the "will it work" phase. the batteries are sealed (means they wont leak or corrode), and offer a higher capacity than typical wet cells.
