Battery Question

I have a '97 Honda Civic.

Going to sams to get a batt for the trunk.. Should I just get the biggest I can fit..?? Or do I have to get a certain group size??

I'm running about 2k rms.. but might be looking to upgrade.. sometime later.

If it's in the trunk get the one with the highest ratings for specs. I think either group 31 or 34

Get a group 31 for the back and then whatever size fits up front ..iirc those civic batts up front are the size of my motorcycle batt..wise choice on battery too

Yep group 31 is what I would recommend. Look for the highest ah rating if they provide it. If they don't look for the highest RC.

I have the same car, I'd expect the battery to be pricey because they are narrow and tall. I was going to put a AGM upfront but its a hassle finding one for a decent price. I got a Deka Intimidator 55ah and am going to throw that in the back.
