Battery Question

Ok, so my girlfriend bought a Stinger SPV35 for her civic (stingers honda battery). Well its just a bit too short and it needs raised like 1.25 to be held down by the strap securely.

Ive seen people use treated wood(for moisture concerns obviously) underneath the battery to raise it up, but I dont have any treated wood atm and we need to get this done like asap. do you think it would be safe to put a piece of wood inside the metal casing of the battery. Im thinking it would raise it up, plus keep the wood safe from moisture....

any concerns you think i should have before doing this?

so go ahead and put the wood inside the metal casing and there isnt any problem with that? no fire hazards or what not to worry about?

why would it catch on fire? if that wood can catch on fire, so can the battery.
but if it's a battery on top of a piece of wood, i see no problem with that at all.
yeah, just covering all bases. dont wanna be the reason my girls car burns down haha
