Help with my system

Hello Everyone,

Im new to this board and it looks like you guys might be able to help me out with my system.

My headunit is a Kenwood Excelon 990.

Right now I have Alpine Type R Components in the doors and no rear fill. The fronts are run off an Alpine MRV-t320.

I also have a 10" Type R at 2 Ohms running off an Alpine MRV-605 (Digital)

I am in the process of rewiring everything, Dynamating the car and adding some new components. I picked up a set of Alpine SPX-17Pros for the front and an Apline MRV-345 amp.

I was thinking I should run the new Pros off the MRV 345 and take the Type R woofers for mid rear fill and run just the woofers off my old MRV-t320. Not crazy abou the Alpine Type R tweeters anyway. So I would chuck them.

The question is, how should I set up the fronts? Biamp? I would like to use the passive crossovers as I am not really experienced with going active.

The Alpine Pros appear to be really nice speakers. The crossovers look really nice.

Are you guys familiar with the MRV-345. It looks like I cant just bridge it to 2 channels for running the components. It goes to 75X1 and 300X1. Thats no good. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help everyone. I am more of a grease monkey than an electronics guy. By this way, this is all going into a 94 Z28 Camaro.

Does anyone know if the Alpine MRV-F345 can be bridged to 2 channels for the components or should I biamp them? Should I run the woofers off channels 1&2 and the tweeters off 3&4 so I can adjust the gains for each? But then how would I input the RCAs. I would only run 1 pair of rcas to the amp because I need the rear outs from my headunit to go to the rear fill.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

If the Type-R components are bi-ampable I would do that, i was unaware you could do it woth those. Either way though most 4 channel amps are bridgeable.
