battery power question

Sorry for the missunderstanding I was just trying to help. I was simply trying to say that I think it will work but you will probably get the light diming and what not, and that I think it would be better to have two Deka's instead of having the regular stock and one Decka I feel that it would be better to have one deka than to have one stock batt. I also think that one decka is better than one stock and one Decka. Hence I would just run the one until I could afford to buy another Decka. Sorry if that is still off tune. but that is my opinion and it is only an opinon.

Sorry for being a tad snappy. The best thing you could do now would be deka plus stock, but if you only have room for 1 I'd go for deka. It isn't going to support 2000rms though. So watch the gains.

My AS1 car on the team runs a Decka and for 2k or better I think as long as the car is running it is fine he runes a 3k at half ohm daily off of one of these

yeah no i was just trying to help you understand it cuz i do appreciate your help. i already have the deka sitting in my room. the deka and stock would be better than just the deka though thats fact.

I've been running dekas for 2 years now. I love them but with a stock eletrical/deka up front..I dont see it supporting that power. What size is the OP's alt? I'd invest in a voltage meter. I may be wrong in the end but I don't think it's going to work. turn down the gains a bit and sure..

I am sorry for being so off track. He has to run with the car off and after his runs the batt is close to dead though so it is not really the brightest idea unless you have and upgraded alt. So I guess he would be right. I am just not a fan of runing the stock batt with the better decka.

in a stretch i could wire the deka in the back but then i would have to use my 1/0 gauge that came for grounding a batt for going from the deka + to my amp. So then i would have to use 4 gauge for my ground. Will it be okay using smaller wire for grounds on my batts.? i left my stock ground wiring in my stock battery so far, is this ok?

O ya I'm sure he can do it. Break out the DMM and check the voltage and find a point where the voltage drops are bearable..then get the big 3 done and that'll help

I had to call and he does have a bigger alt as well so this man is prolly right. I use kenitic and powermaster batts I just have a teammate that uses them and I test with him.

How do you like powermaster compared to kinetik? I'm thinking of switching out my 2400's...
