Battery placement question

I drive a fairly large car( Cadillac Fleetwood) and I'll soon be putting another battery in my car. I have the room to put it in the front opposite the factory location, but will this cause a big problem as far as voltage drops? I'm going to be running about 2300watts total, and everything would be done in 1/0. For batts I'm keeping the large factory one in the stock location, and the other will probably be an optima or kinetic 1400. Can I maintain around 13-14 volts with this, or should I put the second one in the trunk?

If you've got the room in the engine bay, it will be fine there. Why not squeeze a Group 31 in there?

Either way around you gotta run cables to the trunk.. with the second batt in the trunk you can do the amp ground to it.. but if you got the room do it how you prefer.. the cables will be about the same total length anyways..

I drop pretty low full tilt, around 10v, so would I need 2 batts? I have 4g now, but I'll be getting 1/0 VERY soon

x2 i would venture to say that is part of the problem. Is this 1 run of 4 ga wire front to back?

I assumed when adding a second battery you are suppose to get the source as close to the battery as possible.
