battery or cap

ok i know this is a common one. but, i don't remember which one is the lesser of two evils. i remember reading reading on here that a little 9volt batter lit a lightbulb longer than a fully charged cap and that caps are garbage and what not.

i just don't remember which one is recommened.

adding an additional amp and speaker and plan on doing the big 3 and i think one of these will help

I would buy the RF 100 farad cap and call it good, also run it on a stock alt and 4 gauge wire for maximum preformance.
Wow audiophiles are such *** hats lol. Not everyone knows that a Cap could fry your electrical system and really doesnt serve a purpose other than to stop moderate fluctuations in volt outputs. Personally know someone that has a big *** battery under the hood with a good output alternator running 6 subs with 1 amp per sub and a big *** Capacitor to stop dimming and crap. Also has another amp for his components. He hasnt fried his yet...but he also doesnt have as much electrical shit as newer cars do.

For voltage drops i was told that a new batt woulndt do anything because its the alt that sends power to the amp. But wouldnt an old battery that cant keep charge affect that?
