Battery Leakage!

I am redoing all of my installation....hook my SP1000 up, and about 3 min later it is shooting out something

Any reason why?

ive seen that onley when.... battery was on to high of a charge for tooo long... and if the ba was hooked up backword's other then that???????????

it was hooked up backwards now looking at it...I was just hooking it up for a sec to do a quick test.....still usable now that it is done and is reading out 9v?

just look over it.. make sure ur case isnt cracked and all that... i would pull it out.. put it in a room temp, room and hook it up to a low amp trickle charger. and see if it holds a charge... if it dose and nothing is cracked ext... then it should be allright..

it is stil holding a charge and leaked for about 20sec

like i said.. look over the batt.. make sure there are no cracks exct.... put it on the charger and keep an eye on it... to make sure it dosent juice out again... i say if it holds a charge and there are no more leeek's it's all good...
