Im away at college and my car is sitting at home in the garage. i guess my parents run the car every so often but they called me this morning and said the battery died again. aabout a month ago the battery died and they switched it out for a regular 700cca battery.....any idea why they keep dying? possibly they dont run the car enough? when i left home i disconnected the remote wire so the amp wouldnt turn on. right now ive got a 200A EA alt underhood, regular battery, and then 2 2400 kinetiks in the trunk.

thanks in advance....

Sounds like you have an issue with things drawing power with the car off. If you are way at school and leave the car at home just get a battery tender type charger..wouldn't hurt to put an agm battery under the hood either. The best way to go is add another 2400 under the hood but in alot of cases it is difficult to fit. Also depends on the condition of the ones in back.
