Battery issues pt 3

Just got an exchange for a xs d3400 from sonicelectronix. Got the battery resting at 12.55v. Trickle charged it for an hr or so. Rested at about 12.9 off the charger. Put it in my car to test it out and was not impressed with the voltage drop on this thing. After some hwy driving i turned off the amps so there would be hardly any current draw before i turned the car off. When i came back to my car being off for a a few hours the voltage was resting at 12.4v with nothing on. With about a 200w load with the car off my.voltage will shoot down to about 11.9v. Now whats weird is ill throw it on the charger and it will take a 2 amp charge for like 2 mins and itll say fully charged. This is about the same thing for my past batteries i tried and sent back (kintik). Im starting to think my alternator or charger might be the culprit not sure. The charger im using is the diehard 71222 automatic charger with an agm setting. Any insight would be appreciated runnin out of shipping money here.

You may have something that is drawing current from the battery while the car is off. Check the voltage while the car is running. Check at the alt then at the batt and see if you're losing voltage along the way. It could be anything though...

Charged up the d3400 and had it running alone on a 2000w amp. With the volume turned down my voltage at the battery was around 14.4v. When at 60-75% tilt I would get 1v volt drops on certain notes and major HID headlight flicker. Now in perspective my aging C&D Tech 350mr 93ah battery can keep the voltage drops
As of right now I have my diehard gold lead acid and the d3400 hooked up and after some driving around and the car off they read ~12.7v, compared to my C&D + diehard which would usually be around 12.3-12.4v, but when I unhook them, the d3400 tapers off to like 12.67v while my diehard goes up to 12.85v after a while. I don't get this at all, it seems like any agm battery I put in the back always rests lower than my lead acid starting battery (2 kintik batterys before this one and even with my C&D battery). But whats weird, as i stated before the C&D 350mr and diehard together would rest at 12.4v hooked up to the car, but separately sitting out for a couple days, the diehard would be at 12.7 and the c&D would be at 12.67

Just tested my parasitic draw and with the multimeter in between the grounds and I was pulling about .5 amps with the car off. Thats roughly about 6 watts of draw. Does this seem like a lot for having the car off?

Don't have a hood light, everything was off I believe. Should I start pulling fuses? Btw put my d3400 on a diehard charger and it rests at 12.75v, I ordered a ctek charger so Im gonna see if that will make it rest higher.

sounds like a bad ground and alt connections.

mine did this but it was because one of my crimp ends came loose. make sure the same thing you ground the front batt to. ground the rear to.
