Battery Isolators

Stock battery under the hood.
Shuriken BT35 in the back.

Run them in parallel or get a battery isolator? Car is seldom played when off.

However' date=' it seems alot of literature says iso's are a must since the batts are not the same in any fashion. Thanks.[/quote']

Since you are running a stock battery under your hood, it would be best to get the iso.

I wish i was more savvy with the electrical hardware aspects of a car. So if i have a 80 amp alt. I should look for a 80 amp iso? or? Thanks.

I notice some items are iso's and relays. would this be better for me than just an iso?

Trust me, i would like nothing better than a H/O alt. However, due to the location of the alt in my car, and the unavailability of H/O's for my car, its not in the cards right now. And so far my little alt has been keeping up quite well with no help, considering the load on it.

The addition of a batt is somewhat of a precaution more so than a cure.

I suppose now i'll have to find out what iso i need and how to install it.

Anyone care to shed light on either?
