Ok I have narrowed it down to either 1 g78 and 2 g31 deka intimidators or a kinetik 1800 and 2400? Current draw will be a MAX of 400-450 amps and have a 200 amp alternator.

I figure the dekas will give me more reserve but how much harder is it on the alternator vs just the two kinetiks?

Price for the two options are fairly close with the deka being a little cheaper.

i was just about to answer the question then i realized something.

are you saying you will be able to run 1 g78 and 2 g31's versus just the 2 kinteics? or are you saying you are going to run the g78 under the hood regardless and will have either 2 deka's or kinetiks in the back.

either way i would still take the dekas. not a fair comparison IMO. buddy has 2 dekas, and they work wonderfully. and its not really fair to compare 3 vs 2 batts. but that depends on how you answer the above question.

If I run the Dekas ths g78 up front if I get the Kinetiks the 1800 would be up front.

3 Dekas total or 2 Kinetiks total.

Thanks that is kind of the direction I was leaning I just wanted to make sure.
