Battery ground questions 4000+ watts

Okay so I have a few questions..

I am trying to get the lowest voltage drop possible with my setup.. this is what I currently have..

An Atomic 5000.1

(2) Odyssey PC2150 batteries in the rear of the truck

A stock bat in the front

(1) run of 1/0 gauge from the front to the rear battery positive

I have 1 ground coming off the battery negative to a bolt on the frame. My main problem is that I have a stock alternator at the moment but im dropping huge voltage. does anyone have any ideas?

HO alt, a 2nd pos run and try two frame grounds in the back with two front battery grounds to the frame as well maybe?

I'm about to try around the same power and thats my plan...hopefully I don't see the drops like you have.

4k+ get a second battery, pos and neg to the front battery (0/1), a HO alt, and big 3 (0/1)

edit: shit i got all that but the neg to the front and i run 1.2-1.5k. lol. overkill FTMFW

I plan on doing dual stock alternators.. which would be better? a single 300 amp alternator or dual 150s?
daul 150's actually, the lower the amp laod of an alty, then the higher its ratio of putting out amp is at low RPMS

Bassically (exmaple)

300 amp alty at 1000RPMS 50 amps

150 amp alty at 1000 Rpms 75amps

(dont flame numbers just example)

A stock alt will usually be able to provide more current at lower RPMs. Combine that with the fact that you've got 2 of them and the available current at idle is significantly increased.

You still need to address the current delivery. I'm assuming that the amp is grounded directly to the rear batteries and the batteries are connected in parallel with several runs of large cable. You need to beef up the connection between the front and rear.

When are you getting the voltage drops? During burps? While driving? If during burps, are you in a class that allows you to run the car during comps? If you're having the problem while driving listening to music, the alts aren't going to help a lot but increasing the efficiency of the connections between the batteries and the amp will help a lot.
