correct me if im wrong but you clip when your voltage goes down below a certain point and it makes your amp clip then sends the signal to sub to distort etc?

so if im reading 12.8 volts at volume 26 out of 40 then that means i can raise volume until reaching maybe 12.4 volts?

can i just add a second battery in the rear then it would have it so i can raise volume higher and create more boom?

this is probably the only area im really confused about

since people saying to add another battery then all g

but if you do then it creates more stress on your alt?

no idea which side to look at it from.

no idea which side to look at it from.

clipping occurs when the transistors try to exceed there output limits. AKA it can only pass 50 amps. so once the since wave hits 50 amps reguardless of phase it will not stay linear and will result in a square wave.

Yea basically. Once you hit your output limit it clips.
