battery dieing question...

ok, so RIGHT NOW i have a 91 mercury tracer wagon, and i have an infinity kappa perfect 12.1 12" sub with about 375watt amp. now, my battery went dead after about MABYE 3 months of having the system in it, now i DO have a amp cut off switch along with everytime i turn off the car the amp turns off. so was it possible that my amp/sub killed my battery??? or was it something else? cause it was fine when i started it but the next morning, its was COMPLETLY dead.

any ideas?

You probably have a drain somewhere in your cars electrical system. Hook up a meter to you fuse box and see if there is any current being drawn. If there is, pull fuses individually to find where the draw is coming from.

well see heres the thing, i pretty much made it so the amp will never be left on. yea, idk, mabye the alternator isnt doing its job :/

How old is your battery?

It could have nothing to do with your audio system

the battery isnt NEW but its not old, lol. well i got a new truck, lol so not my problem anymore if the altornator's bad. ummm lol. i got a 94 blazer :]
