Battery Charger question

okay, i just got a battery charger from harbor freight for $34 on sale. its automatic 2/10/55 amp battery charger.

i just want to top of my battery bank, should i just do a trickle charge(2 amps) or the fast charge(10 amps)?

its on trickle charge(2 amps) right now, how long should i trickle charge it? or can i leave it for a long time?

its my first time using a battery charger so i don't really know much

Depends on if it has an AGM setting and what the size of your bank is. If you are charging a bank of 2 group 27 or larger 20-30 amps can be used. 10 amps would be the smallest I would use on a single big battery.

it doesn't have an AGM setting on it, but it says that it works on deep cycle and maintenance free battery, i figured thats AGM.

im charging a kinetik 1800 and 2400.

Agm chargers will not go over 14.8 volts or so. Regular chargers will go above that usually.
