Battery, Buying Locally...

I'd buy an Optima before buying an Exide Orbital. I heard they were designed by the same person but the Exides are not gel cells. You're going to need more thana Diehard to power that SA 3000D:).

Ah, don't tell me that...

I just bought a Exide Orbital Select, the other day. Well it comes with a two year warranty from checkers, so can't beat that if i goes bad. I get a new one!

I got a Stinger 1000 and a Kinitek 600 for back up...

You sure? I used to work for Checker's. I don't think the warranty is that long. Should of bought a Redtop instead. I think the Orbitals are 1 year free replacement, and prorated for 24 months after 1 year.

I've had some bad luck lately with Optima red-top's..

I found a Deka Intimidator at a local battery store. The specs were right, good looking AGM cell, and made in the USA to boot.

FWIW, I'm in the telecom business and all of our commercial telecom batteries are Deka, so they must be good stuff. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
