i need a new battery....i want a energizer like they sell at pep boys..its got like 800 + cca...its the biggest i could find that would fit in the caprice...right now its got like 600 cca's........i got 2 800.2 kickers w/ a 1 farad cap per.....i looked at the optima and it doesnt put out nearlly as much power as the energizer.....please help

Most people who use optima's use those because they are sealed and can be placed in the trunk, or somewhere other than under the hood. They are used as extra storage power. I personally dont use an optima under the hood. I also just bought the biggest cca battery I could find.

yea i went to autozone today and bought a duralast....1000 ca and 900 cca....that thing rips......and it was hella cheaper...thx navy
