if you have 2 batteries and 1 of them you know for sure is dead but haven't disconnected it yet. will it cause the other battery to not hold charge. i ask because i have a brand new interstate battery i use for starting battery. the second one is a old school lightning storm battery in the trunk. i know for sure the lightning storm battery is dead. i just never get around to replacing it. plus i have to find one that is the same size as well because of a custom installed.

thanks

yeah i will but for right now if i disconnect the second battery no sound. the amps is wired to it. i've been getting atleast 13.5 to 14volt from it till now. i dont drive this vehicle much so the battery usually drain down till i cant start the car. so i trickle charge it till its full. i did that for a couple of time now the interstate wont hold charge anymore. keep in mind i never let the interstate drain completely dead.
