any problem with 10" sono ports?

im looking at running 2 sdc2.5's or 2 SA-15s when they are release... question is would there be an issue with running a 10" sono tube port if its only 12" long?

Yes, that would work depending on box size and what tuning you want.

that all depends on how big the box is to determine what you are going to be tuned to... i have bbp6 here if you want me to put some # in quick.

i've already got the numbers 8 ft^3 @ 37hz gives me 12" long if im using a 10" round port... my question wasn't my math (im not that new... lol) my question was with a port opening that is 10" round if it is only 12" long will that create a problem as far as loading or unloading or lack of pressure is concerned?

I wouldn't think so, just as long as it is the correct length to tune the box to 37 hz.

Nope. Just do all your math right & it'll work. I plan on doing something similar in my next enclosure.. 10"-12" tube.

i would think port velocity with one large lets say 10" port would be alot less than say six 4" aero's which is what I think this is equal to... I HEARD (from hazy recollection) that low port velocity is better for splz
