ok i have a 06 dodge charger but they do not make bigger alternators for my car yet. i am goin to run 2 dd9915's and a dd z2 and i need to know what other upgrades i can run to get the most out of the z2 (batteries,batcaps,etc). but i do plan on getting a bigger alternators when they come out

i know a lil about the big 3 but what kind of batteries and i am kinda limited on space so what about 1 big battery or something to that sort

getcha a yellowtop up front under the hood, then get a Kinetik 2400 in the back. I'd personally run at least 2 runs of 1/0 awg to the back, one for power, one for ground (maybe even 4- 2 for power, 2 for ground). Then, I would definately do the big 3 underneath the hood- Battery + to Alt +, Batt - to frame, frame to engine block. Them Z2's are badass amps, and they can easily **** your electrical system dry. You might even want to go by a local shop and see if they can rebuild your factory alt to put out more amperage.

my battery is in the trunk with my spare i got some battery post under my hood but for the big 3 would i need to run from the post under my hood or from the battery in my trunk

and i do not have enough trust in any of my local shops to mess with running my systems wires let alone my alternators

lol thats about a 6000 watt amp man (not laughing at it but its ridiculous power) its going to take every bit of a 300 amp alt and 3 2000 or at least 2 2400 at the bare minimum in by the amp.

ok i found some kinetik 2400's for about 270-280 each is that a good price? and would i need just one or 2?

Stock wire to the alternator is 1ga. I did a run of 4/0ga in my friends charger, it wasnt fun. The alternator is a royal beeotch to get to, you have to reomve the tire to get in there.I would reccomend an odyssey 2250 and possibly another 2150, they should have plenty reserve for you.

only thing with the 2250 is its expensive and it isnt street class legal in db drag or usac as its over 800 ci but that also depends if you compete lol
