are Deka's deep cycle though??

all of you using the Yellowtops... why yellowtop and not Bluetop... The big Bluetop is like 1200CCA, and it has 4 top posts... SOOO much easier to work with

Edit: and yes, the Bluetops are deep cycle as well

I am about to purchace a batt for my storage area.

yes... they are AGM deep cycle batteries

lakota maybe your truck is just crappy. I love kinetik all my friends at work use them, my brother has an hc1400 running his entire system and starting his car and he loves it. His system is around 1200 rms. kinetik ftw

Maybe you should think about getting off the bandwagon, although it does seem that Kinetik's reputation is slowly declining. I bought my Kinetik hc1400 2 years ago and my hc2400 is a couple months younger. I'm not running a little measly 1.2kW setup either. I have 2 saz300d's, 200A alt, 8 runs of 1/0 and a battery bank in my tool box. Once you get to toying with a bigger system you will realize that there ARE stronger batteries out there than Kinetik.

Northstar is good stuff. I think that my buddy's nsb90 has been under his hood for about 4 years now.

i like my kinetiks had 2 hc 2000 i have had the 1 in storage now for almost a year and it is still showing almost 13 volts.very good batterys

I personally have one HC1400 under the hood of my Civic with about 900W RMS of audio. It has been very cold here the last few days and starting is never a problem with the Kinetik. I used to have the stock battery go dead on cold days like this. The audio never clips like it used to and I never have dimming issues. I have helped others with other brands as well and have seen some of them work well and others fail. I have worked with PM and they worked OK and Batcap which did not work at all.
