BattCaps: Any Opinions?

Just wanting to see if anyone has any info or opinions/feedback on Battcaps. I was going to get a Stinger Power2 dB SP1700 to put in as a second battery. But then today a friend of mine who used to compete told me to get a battcap instead. Looking at your set up I dont see why you would need anything

like a cap,or even another Bat - You have the big 3 and an ALT

I messed with bat caps and never noticed a difference,just like with regular caps

but they look cool........
