thats for passive gain setting. There is active gain setting method for bass knobs but its for more advanced users only assuming the bass knob is a proper gain knob that goes up at proper levels vs having a 15% to 100% power dump immediately after a certain point halfway.Set to max, then set gains on amp.

I feel like my sundown one is like that. Past 20% it doesnt add alot but 0-20% is drasticthats for passive gain setting. You want your gain knob(bass knob) to be at 100% when you set your gains on your amps so you can turn down your gain when needed as well as never go past 100% into clippingSo what u are saying that I should set my gain a little advance because I have my gain set but I don't get nothing from the knob.

sounds like its not plugged in.. are you using the bass knob and wire that came with the amp?I kind of loss I set my gain with a mm using 40 hz an I had my control knob at max but I don't here no different from min to max
