Bass knob

Set to max, then set gains on amp.

thats for passive gain setting. There is active gain setting method for bass knobs but its for more advanced users only assuming the bass knob is a proper gain knob that goes up at proper levels vs having a 15% to 100% power dump immediately after a certain point halfway.

I feel like my sundown one is like that. Past 20% it doesnt add alot but 0-20% is drastic

You want your gain knob(bass knob) to be at 100% when you set your gains on your amps so you can turn down your gain when needed as well as never go past 100% into clipping

I kind of loss I set my gain with a mm using 40 hz an I had my control knob at max but I don't here no different from min to max

What amp, what sub, what kind of box? ported or sealed?

If you disconnect the knob and play your music, is there a difference in output between little gain and alot?

and just for an fyi, this is how gains work.
