Bass knob cable

I installed my fosgate peq knob but the cable frayed and it's stopped working and Rockford doesn't offer replacement cables. So I was told to check radio shack and best buy but don't know what it's called. It looks like an Ethernet cable and it has 8 wires and it goes in order like this: brown blue yellow green pink black lightbrown white. Any ideas on what this is called?

It probably is an ethernet cable, RJ45 has 8 pins.
