Basic: How to install JBL MS-8 question

Looking to add an MS-8 to my factory unit OEM in my 2015 Honda Fit with a 5 channel amp as well. I am not doing this myself, but I don't want the car audio place to sucker me into buying extra stuff.

What I understand is, the headunit to the MS-8 can be a high level input. Then I just need short, small RCA cables to run from the MS-8 to the 5 channel amp, correct? Or should they use a hi-lo converter to run rcas from the OEM unit to the MS-8?
