Basic Decent sounding system?

Ok i am new to all of this stuff and i really dont know what i need. I know for sure that i want at least one sub but im low on money since im only 16....i have a 2005 extended cab silverado and i want to put the sub either under the seat or in the back seat......please help? Thanks!

Hello,

Newbie here wanting some good advice for a subwoofer, box, amp setup.

I'm not looking for an earth shattering setup, just something that will deliver clean bass to fill the gap. Also nothing to underpowered because I'll have some days where I'll want to crank up the bass. The size of box is important because I might want to use the back seat sometimes. Also If you have any links where to buy these items at, that would be great.

Well, welcome to the forum. If I were you, I would save up some more money, and check back with us. I'ts better to get something that is at least half way decent, then to be stuck with garbage is you know what I mean.

I would save more money, since your 16 and you have a '05 silverado for your first car...I'm sure it won't take long..

Basically you won't get anything decent for that money....

350 is an extremely tight budget i had an 04 f150 crew cab. i put 2 niche 10's $45.00 a pice with a phoenix gold 1000 watt 2 ch on sale at frys for $100 and the box was $100 as well. amp kit was $35 and rca's were 15. that was my first set up and it sounded very clean. not earth shattering but sounded good and didnt take up seat space. only cost me $340.00

I would say save some money man. Wait a couple months it will be well worth it start piecing it together slowly. Buy a new HU first. then comp speakers/amp. then tackle sub/amp/box
