Bartenders...need some guidance

I just got the phone call from my boss that ive been promoted from bar back to bartender this summer (work in a nightclub) I was wondering if anyone here had a guide as to how to make common drinks. This is not the type of place where you'll be making vodka collins and shit like that...more like red headed ****s, some girly shots...things of that nature...

if you could email me it (if its a word file or something) or if you know of any good sites to check out id appreciate it...

you dont realize that kind of place this is...only beer we serve is cans of bud, bud light, amstel light and heiny....mixed drinks of vodka and whatever

Do your own research, maybe? You should probably go out and buy a book, and learn the common ones, and if someone asks you for something you don't know about, you look it up.

The alternative is to not know, not look it up, have to ask someone else, and still get laughed at. At least if he buys a book, he can study ahead of time, and avoid the laughter altogether.

Buy a book.

living in orlando and firestone has had many fights go down and shootings and they serve longneck bottles and glass drinks....maybe the owner is just really cheap..

i think it helps the owners insurance to be honest, had someone almost fatally injured with a glass bottle a few years ago...
