I have it. It transfers $100 if I overdraft. But, they still charge you when you overdraft.

Get overdraft protection then ... it's like $2/month at my bank ...
I don't have it but I always have at least $1500 in either one of my accounts ...

BofA will link your savings account from keep the change to your checking account, and if you ever overdraft your checking, they will take it from your savings.

but i do believe you have to initiate this linking.

yes, BOA sucks dick, only reason i have them is because my work and my girls work use them, and if you dont have an account its like 5 bucks for them to cash it, so its cheaper this way. I dont have any money in it though.

ive never understood cashing checks. why not just deposit it in your bank account and then use the atm when you need cash?

dude I hate to say it but just always make sure you have at least 6 dollars in your account man...I mean it is 6 bucks.

I would think any bank that automatically took out account charges would do so on a month to month basis within like a 3 day span or somethin. Ive had bank of america for years and they have done nothing but 100% satisfy me. I guess its pretty much a case of no company can be perfect. IF a company is big enough, their WILL be bad experiences one time or another.

Several times, when my checking account gets low, I miraculously get a maintenance fee. That fee will overdraft my account, and if I don't catch it before the end of the day, $25 fee. I honestly think that it's not a coincidence, and that they program their system to do that.
