BandPass Or Ported enclosure?

I am getting two 12 in subs as well as an amp and was wondering which would be better for the subs them selves and band pass enclosure or a ported?

They both would be "fine" for the subs as long as they are designed correctly. Are you thinking 4th or 6th order bandpass?
