I'm putting 4 12"s in my trunk, and I have an area of 36x36x16 high, that I can construct in and be able to fit it in and out of my trunk. they call for 2 cubes each with a ported box, first of all, does that 2 cubes include the port area? And Im curious what you guys think I should do.
My plan originally was the basic all four subs facing up with a 36x36x14 box ports on the ground, two forward, two back. but, that only leaves a few inches up for sound to get anywhere.
So then I decided I would put two subs forward, two back, the ports on the ground facing the way the subs are... but I'm just not really sure what to do....

Does the ported recommended cubes include the port.

What do you guys think the best box design would be in a 36x36x16 space, walls at roughly 37 width, 39 depth, and 17 height.
