Balanced line adapter for 8053

So I want to hook everything up but I am a little confused on something. It looks like you connect your remote wire to the Balanced line adapter from the HU. But then how do you have your amps turn on when you turn the radio on without having the amps on all the time. How did everybody with Balanced line adapters set the remote wire up. I have two amps btw. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

So I can splice the remote wire to 3 different things. That wont draw to much from the deck will it and potentualy wreck the deck would it?.....

Or that wont prevent me from getting 12 volts to each device would it?

your think of drawing current(amps) not voltage two diffrent things. your amps need 12volts to come on. no to play thats a diffrent story thats when it takes current. you should be able to splice the wire if you really wanted too and would not need to worry much about it. but a relay would be a better idea. but eather way its still sorta the same thing.

at least that sounds right hehe

its late give me a break

No it's not.

Each unit will need a certain, but small, amount of current via the REM wire to turn on. The REM wire doesn't output very much current....usually less than 3A total. Start connecting too many units to the REM wire without a relay, and you're going to exceed the amount of current that the remote-on can support and run the risk of frying the REM output.

Hence why a relay is necessary in certain situations.
