sooo, pretty much finally got around to replacing my rear speakers that have been out for a while now.. got the panels off and the speakers in rather quickly.. when i went to test before i put everything back together i learned that i wasnt getting any sound from the rear passenger side.. i swapped speakers to rule out a bad speaker.. and same thing.. so i know both the new speakers work!

dont really know where to go from here to track down my problem.. was never a big audio guy but am knowledgeable for the most part

some more info probably be helpful, installing polk co-axials in rear doors.. running off jl amp in trunk.. all of that has been there already so no wiring was messed with or altered... i traced the wiring back from the amp and apparently the audio shop that did the original install ran all the wires back to the front under the head unit and spliced them into original speaker wires at main harness.. kind of makes it difficult to figure anything out...

for reference u can see the bundle of wires under the rcas that were spliced into the stock speaker wiring:

A quick test to see if the speakers are working from the raidio power rather than the Amp,by being wired back up to the Radio/HU,...Quick Check--Unplug the RCAs from the Head unit. And see if the Speakers Are playing..If they do, then the Speakers are wired to the Radio/HU, if not, then More than likely wired to the amp..Next step would be to Plud the RCAs back in, and Cut/remove the Speaker wires,If Playing, then the Speakers are running off the amp.If so, Cap off all Speaker wires to the HU/Radio.Try those things/Quick steps first.Come Back, and Let us know the results

Thanks for the help... I ended up swapping out the RCA's to another set i had.. And wah lah... Both speakers worked!! Dunno where the actual problem was .. But, Rcas probably woulda been the last thing i checked!! Thanks again!
