Bass really loud vocals audible but really soft

okay great news i got it all hooked up correctly ( had to repin some wires but got it exactly like the stock one was ) thanks for all the help guys! now im having a bit more trouble my bass is like super loud and the vocals are way too soft ive tried all the settings and nothing seems to help even when i put the bass no 0 and everything else high or try vocal mode. i have a sosche thing that makes my cd player work with my car and my cd player only has red and white plug ins and the sosche thing has grey white purple green it seems i can hook up any combination of those 4 and the thing still plays. ( i usually just keep white on left and grey on right ) so i dont think its that anyone have any ideas why my vocals wont turn up? may i note the vocals are definately their just very faint thanks

you have an amp on your door speakers?

yes the stock jbl amp goes to all six speakers in my car and all speakers are working

Maybe they just can't keep up with the bass

note when i was talking about repinning i was talking about the radio harness. i have not touched the stock amp wiring

whydid you have to repin the harness if you got the scosche adapter? what kind of deck did you put in?

Is bass boost "on" on your subwoofer amp? If so turn it off and problem should be solved. If that doesn't work trying lower HPF. If that doesn't work, check if your car has a subwoofer built in and turn that OFF. If none of those work, report back.

okay will work on it tommorow and i had to repin because the stock jbl radio plug got cut and i had to buy a plug that was the same but was pinned for a 01-04 corolla not a 05

Something's wrong with the hookup between the deck and factory amp.
